Ms. Joyce Pelate has been with Coastal Energy Corporation since 2007, and is currently in the position of Administrative Assistant for both the Safety and Payroll departments. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1989, and is currently working toward her Bachelor of Science in Accounting through Ashford University, with one more year to go.

Ms. Pelate has extensive experience in accounting and office administration. In 2001, she earned her Certificate of Completion in Universal Accounting System. She also held her Property and Casualty/Life and Health Producer license from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to her work, Ms. Pelate enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years, Chris. The couple has two sons, Eric age 22 and Dalton age 21. Ms. Pelate loves to learn new things and truly enjoys school, especially since returning to classes in her thirties. She describes Chris as her best friend, and they love to camp, float the Current River, and watch movies together.
